Casino Royale (1967)

While Nick is away, Adam and Nico dissect the notorious, non-canonical James Bond movie Casino Royale. No, not that one! Long before Daniel Craig, producer Charles Feldman bought up the film rights to Ian Fleming’s original 007 novel. And what began as a straight adaptation became an unwieldy parody directed by five(!) people and starring seven(!!) Bonds. The fellas try to parse through the confusing plot and even more puzzling behind-the-scenes drama, involving Orson Welles, Woody Allen, Peter Sellers, David Niven and practically any other British person alive in the 1960s. Consider the pod both shaken and stirred.
