The guys break from their seasonal programming to discuss the much-anticipated Dream Scenario, Nicolas Cage’s fifth big screen performance this year and the one that earned him his first Golden Globe nomination in over two decades. Cage stars as a tenured college professor who becomes a viral sensation of sorts, after mysteriously appearing in the world’s collective consciousness. Nick, Nico and Adam unravel this Charlie Kaufman-esque philosophical premise and evaluate how the film contends with our ridiculous modern world. Plus, music to any podcast listener’s ears: lots and lots of dream talk.
